The MFP Academy: Mind Future Intelligence is a strategic initiative aimed at addressing the high unemployment rates among graduates in South Africa by providing specialized Artificial Intelligence (AI) and software development training. Our academy offers a comprehensive one-year program designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and experience to thrive in the tech industry. What we believe in

South Africa is facing a significant crisis with soaring unemployment rates, particularly among its youth and recent graduates. Imagine graduating with dreams and aspirations only to find that there are no job opportunities that match your qualifications. The unemployment rate stands at approximately 34.9%, and this figure includes a substantial portion of graduates who are unable to find jobs. The economic challenges further exacerbate this issue, making the job market highly competitive and difficult to navigate.

The world is rapidly advancing with technological innovations, creating an exponential demand for AI and software development skills. According to the World Economic Forum, AI is expected to create 97 million new jobs by 2025. Similarly, the software development sector continues to expand, with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting a 22% increase in software development jobs from 2020 to 2030. However, South Africa faces a significant skills gap in these critical areas, hindering economic growth and innovation.
